Jeffrey and Odette appreciate the collective renewal of the New Year and the growth of the podcast!
Odette and Jeffrey revisit a statement Odette made in episode 7 to clarify that they do not believe in manipulative powers outside of self.
Jeffrey and Odette muse about how they view their own realities as reflections of themselves, and how they want to help others know their creative power more fully.
Odette offers a personal example of her inner state being reflected by others, and how shifting her state was quickly reflected in her experience.
Jeffrey explains that we get what we give energy to. He describes how we can add “momentum” to what we want by focusing on what we want and on what feels good. He also explains how to stop the momentum of unwanted thoughts.
The importance of consistent meditation and mindfulness practice is emphasized by Jeffrey. He shares how even starting with five minutes can make a significant difference.
Odette discusses how she enjoys the “all in” manifesting approach of Neville Goddard, referencing his lecture called The Pearl of Great Price.
Jeffrey poses the question: What is truth? He defines it as a feeling of home and wholeness centered in the heart space. He acknowledges yoga and meditation as useful tools for finding one’s own truth. Odette adds her opinion that truth is inside and not outside.
Odette describes a few structured meditation practices, such as the Hawaiian loving-kindness meditation and yoga nidra. Jeffrey shares that, in his opinion, focusing on traumatic experiences or difficult feelings in attempts to heal them may do more harm than good if the individual is not fully prepared to release the patterns. Odette supports this opinion while reflecting on a personal experience of healing hurt from past relationships.
Jeffrey offers a glimpse into part of his morning ritual. He shares that after first waking up, he assumes a yoga pose called child’s pose in bed and breathes with intention and awareness to tune his energy for the rest of the day.
Jeffrey briefly describes some of the visions he experienced during his year of heavy meditation practice (10+ hours in single sessions).
Odette explains how she views her reality as a mirror, and how others may not literally reflect one’s behaviors but how they can reflect one’s inner state.
Jeffrey reminds listeners that even if we are in “resistant” states or in “low vibrational states”, that these experiences add to our growth, expansion, and ultimate joy. He explains how wanting is not the same as being, and that by practicing “high vibrational states” without attaching conditions, we can experience our desires in ways we may not have been able to imagine!
Both Jeffrey and Odette invite listener questions and intend to give space to answering questions in future podcasts. Thank you for listening!
